I went to the classes offered by the Emerency Medical Corps a couple of years ago and highly recommend them. I would say that you should bring either a tape recorder or a video recorder as they move the info along fast. I was lucky and one of the attendees brought these and sent each of us that were interested a DVD of the class. Bring more than one member of your group, what one doesn't remember the other probably will. GREAT CLASS!
